Dr. Li
Dr. Zhehan Li is a dedicated dentist with a passion for combining science, health, and hands-on work. Originally from Xi’an, China, Dr. Li moved to the United States after high school and pursued his undergraduate studies in biochemistry at California State University, Sacramento. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Touro College of Dental Medicine at New York Medical College.
Dr. Li’s fascination with endodontics stems from his desire to relieve patient suffering and save natural teeth. This passion earned him the prestigious “Excellence in Endodontics” award upon graduation. Dr. Li is excited to work with the team here for the supportive and collaborative atmosphere, which aligns with his values and professional goals.
Since relocating to Toledo, Dr. Li has appreciated the city’s friendly culture and the lack of traffic, a welcome change from his time in New York. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys exploring his new surroundings and getting to know the local community. Dr. Li is committed to providing high-quality dental care and making a positive impact on his patients’ lives.
Dr. Ed
Dr. Ed Pantzlaff is our dentist with extensive experience and focus in oral surgery. He spent four years at the oral surgery residency at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, where he earned his MD and published numerous scholarly articles. He is a proud graduate of the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and completed his undergraduate degree at Northwestern College (Iowa). While at Northwestern College, he was a pitcher on the school’s baseball team.
As a devoted student, Dr. Pantzlaff presented the findings of his research at many renowned meetings, including those of the American Association of Dental Research, the American Academy of Craniomaxillofacial Surgery, and the American Academy of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Mike
Dr. Mike graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2014. He graduated near the top of his class, and regularly appeared on the Dean’s List. Since graduating dental school, he has joined the renowned SPEAR Study Club to enhance his skills and knowledge and attends Dental Conventions in Utah and Chicago. He is a member of the ADA, UDA, and AGD. He helps support our office when our dentist can’t be here.
Every decision he makes as a dentist is based on a belief in doing what is best for his patients. Getting to know his patients and improving their oral health and confidence are his favorite parts of his day.
Family is very important to Dr. Mike, and he can often be heard telling stories about his wife and his 2 daughters. He enjoys running, playing soccer, football, and ultimate frisbee. He can always be spotted with a cool pair of shoes on.
